Victoria House in Bradford was a warehouse conversion to student accommodation by developer Golden Sands.

The conversion was completed but to such a low standard that the building was effectively uninhabitable. Needless to say the promised rental returns were not paid and the developer went into liquidation.

The units were sold to a mixture of UK and Far East based investors.

We currently represent a group of these investors and have brought a claim against the solicitors who acted on their behalf for failing to give appropriate warnings in connection with the investment. 

Our lawyers are currently in settlement discussions with the solicitor’s insurers.
